Daniel was a second founding member of Sequent (acquired by IBM), first international director at NetLabs (acquired by Seagate), first international director for China’s largest computer company (Stone: Beijing), Mercury Greater China (acquired by HP) and Director for Fortune 500 companies: Unisys China/Hong Kong, Compuware Asia-Pacific and The Ogilvy Group - WPP Plc. (Singapore).
Daniel was a three sport letterman at St. Clair High School and Captain of its Hall of Fame Football Team, Senior Class Vice-President, an elected Executive Council Member of the Delta Chi Fraternity at Michigan State University, and a graduate of the prestigious United States Marine Corp’s (USMC) Officer Candidates School at Quantico.
After returning State-side, Daniel served on the Board of Directors for various charities (i.e. ALS Michigan, Habitat for Humanity, Macomb Charities ) and the quasi-government Clinton Township Downtown Development Authority (DDA).
As the grandson of Mexican immigrants, Daniel tutored Hispanic families at Macomb Literacy Partners. And in 2010, Daniel qualified to run for State Representative – as an “Independent” – in the 31st District of Michigan’s House of Representatives.
Daniel is also a Master Mason in Freemasonry, and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa and Lambda Pi Eta National Honors Society. Daniel speaks Chinese, Spanish, and English.
